It's been a fantastic start to our Year of Courage! Here we look back on the exciting happenings around the College across Term 1. 

Senior Jersey Day

Our Year 12 students proudly received their Senior Jerseys at the start of term, marking a special moment in their final year at Mount Alvernia College.

Parent Welcome Back Soiree

Early in the term, staff shared an evening with parents and carers to reconnect, strengthen relationships, and celebrate the sense of community that lies at the heart of Mount Alvernia College. 

Galentine's Day

In February, led by our College Captains, we celebrated Galentine's Day, a day dedicated to sisterhood, connection, and the reminder that we thrive when we uplift, support, and champion one another.

Interhouse Swimming Carnival

Spoleto took out first place at our 2026 Interhouse Swimming Carnival in February, where house spirit and cheers echoed throughout the day.

Year 12 Formal

Our 2026 Seniors celebrated their Year 12 Formal – an unforgettable night marking a milestone they’ll always remember.

International Women's Day High Tea

In March, we celebrated the women in our community at our annual high tea event, a fantastic morning bringing together our college community to reflect, share and celebrate the achievements of women.

Harmony Week 

The College celebrated Harmony Week and honoured the International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination on Thursday 26 March with several activities across campus. Harmony Week is a wonderful opportunity for us to learn from one another, show respect, and embrace the many backgrounds that make our college community so vibrant.
