Jeans for Genes Day - Thursday 6th August

Wear your jeans (or denim shorts or skirt) to school as part of your uniform - gold coin donation to support this worthy cause. School tops and jumpers still to be worn.

Karoo Coin Challenge - Thursday 20th August

For those new to Karoo, this annual event sees students collecting and bringing in coins of any denomination to donate. On the day, each class will work together to create the longest line of coins possible using their collected donations.

The class with the longest measured coin line will win a prize! Students will head to the gym where each class will use measuring tools to calculate the total length of their coin line.

Now is the perfect time to start collecting! Check your bags, pockets, cars, coin jars, couch cushions, even under the rug, for spare coins that can help your class reach the finish line.

Please start sending coins to your child’s classroom teacher from the beginning of Term 3.

Karoo PS Performing Arts Soiree - Tuesday 1st September

Families are invited to save the date for our Karoo PS Performing Arts Soiree. On this evening our Year 3 & 4 students and Noisecraft Instrumental Students have the opportunity to share their performing arts and musical talents with our school community. The evening will be taking place on Tuesday 1st September.

Students have been working hard on their musical skills and are excited to share their learning and performances with our school community. In the next two weeks further information regarding the performance will be shared. Tickets on sale now via Compass (or come into the school office) by Thursday 23rd of July.
