Keep Reading, Keep Logging – The Finish Line is in Sight!
Have you logged your reading lately?
Every book you read brings you one step closer to completing the Premiers' Reading Challenge but only if you remember to log it!
Whether you've read one book or one hundred, it's not too late to get back on track. Take a few minutes to log your reading and see how close you are to reaching your goal.
There are prizes up for grabs!
- A winner from every year level
- Overall 1st, 2nd and 3rd place
- The Winning Class will also receive a special prize!
Remember, every page you read counts towards your challenge. Whether you enjoy hilarious graphic novels, thrilling adventures, fascinating facts, or magical stories, your next book could help you cross the finish line.

BOOK WEEK IS COMING
Book Week Character Parade – Monday 24th August
Our Book Week Parade will be held on Monday 24 August, and we can't wait to see the creativity and imagination on display as we celebrate this year's theme, Symphony of Stories.
There will be plenty of exciting activities happening throughout Book Week, including:
- A Book Week Scavenger Hunt around the school
- A Library Scavenger Hunt filled with clues and surprises
- A Book Cover Design Competition
A Design a Bookmark Competition. The winning bookmark will be printed and handed out to students across the school!
And of course... Ms. Bookworm is back! She'll be returning in a brand-new outfit, ready to join the celebrations. Keep an eye out to see what adventures she gets up to this year!
As if that wasn't enough, our library windows and displays will be transformed to celebrate Symphony of Stories. You might even spot some teachers and staff getting into the Book Week spirit too, but you'll have to wait and see!
Book Week is one of the most exciting times of the year in our library. We can't wait to celebrate the magic of books, music, imagination and reading with our whole school community.
LIBRARY CLUB
Get your stamp
Library Club has become so popular that we want to make sure everyone gets a chance to join in.
At the first Library Club session, every student who attends will receive a Library Club Stamp.
At the second Library Club session students without a stamp will be invited in first. Once everyone without a stamp has had the opportunity to join, students with a stamp will be welcomed in if there is still room.
This means everyone will have a fair chance to experience Library Club before students attend a second time.
Thanks for helping us make Library Club fun, fair and inclusive for everyone. We can't wait to see you there!
LIBRARY AWARDS
Congratulations to Isabella T (4SG) and Elena G (4SH), who recently received Library Awards in recognition of their contribution to our library.
Both students showed kindness, responsibility and a wonderful willingness to help when the Library Captains were away.
Thank you, Isabella and Elena, for being such fantastic role models.
