Holy Communion – Continuing the Journey
This week, our second Parent Formation Session for First Holy Communion was very well attended, with families continuing this important journey of preparation alongside their children.
We sincerely thank our families for making the time to participate and engage in the formation offered. We are also very grateful to our parish team and school staff for their presence, guidance and support. This partnership between family, school and parish is an important part of accompanying our children as they grow in faith.
The Eucharist is at the heart of our Catholic faith. Through Holy Communion, we receive Jesus in a very special way and are invited into a deeper relationship with Him and with one another. As our children prepare to receive the Eucharist for the first time, they are learning not only about the Mass, but also what it means to live as people of love, service and gratitude.
We continue to keep all our First Holy Communion candidates and their families in our prayers as they move closer to celebrating this very special sacrament.
