GRADE 2 SLEEPOVER

What an incredible night we had at our Grade 2 Sleepover! The students had an amazing time taking part in fun activities, sharing a delicious dinner, watching a movie, and of course, enjoying a sleepover with their friends! It was wonderful to see everyone showing independence, resilience and kindness throughout the evening.

Mini Commonwealth Games

On Monday, our Prep–2 students took part in a Mini Commonwealth Games! Students decorated a flag from a Commonwealth country and marched in an opening ceremony before competing in a range of exciting activities. 

MATHS

Over the past two weeks, our Grade 1/2 students have been learning all about money. They have been recognising and ordering Australian coins and notes according to their value, as well as adding small collections of money using dollars and cents. This week, students have been applying a range of addition and subtraction strategies to calculate the correct change when making purchases. They are becoming much more confident using money in real-life situations!
