Year 10 (Catch Up)

For those Year 10 students who were consented but unable to attend on the scheduled day in Term 2,  we are offering a catchup day on Wednesday 26 August for:

Nimenrix – Meningococcal ACWY vaccine, single dose, protection against 4 strains of meningococcal disease.

The Immunisation consent link in our parent letter has now closed. If you would like your child to receive the vaccine, please contact the City of Greater Dandenong Immunisation Team: City Of Greater Dandenong on: 8571 1000 or council@cgd.vic.gov.au

Students participating in the Year 7 and Year 10 immunisation program may choose to wear either their full PE uniform or their complete winter uniform with a Nazareth short-sleeve shirt on the day. This helps ensure comfort and allows easy access to the upper arm for vaccination. We also encourage students to have a good breakfast and drink plenty of water before arriving at school to help them feel their best on the day.

Australian Dental Foundation Visit

Last week, we were fortunate to welcome the Australian Dental Foundation to our school, with approximately 65 of our students participating in the program.

Students received dental checks, oral health education and where needed a minor dental treatment on site. For some students, this provided timely care that may otherwise have been difficult to access.

It was wonderful to see students engaging positively with the dental team and gaining a greater understanding of the importance of regular dental care, healthy habits and prevention.

We sincerely thank the Australian Dental Foundation for their time, care and support in providing this valuable service to our school community and look forward to welcoming them back in the future.
