 Conference 1 Athletics Championships 

 

Congratulations to the Brigidine athletics team for their outstanding performance at the conference final, where they secured an impressive second place overall! The Juniors led the way by taking first place in their division, while the Intermediate and Senior age groups both earned second place.

 

 

We are thrilled to announce that this year, thirty-one of our talented athletes have qualified to progress to the SCS Athletics Carnival. A huge well done to the following girls for their remarkable achievements:

SCS Athletics Championships 

 

The SCS Brigidine Athletics Team had a fantastic day at the SCS Athletics Championships, showcasing their talent and determination across a range of events. The top two athletes from each event will move on to the CCC Athletics Championships, with the final two positions in the Track Events (100m, 200m, 800m, and 1500m) to be determined by SCS Sport post-event.

Field Events:

  • Catherine Smiljan – 4th place, 12 Yrs Discus
  • Olivia Kehoe – 1st place, 13 Yrs Long Jump; 3rd place, High Jump
  • Lily Davoren – 1st place, 13 Yrs Javelin
  • Addison Hughes – 1st place, 14 Yrs Javelin
  • Willow Skene – 3rd place, 15 Yrs Long Jump
  • Emily Reid – 1st place, 16 Yrs High Jump
  • Gorjez Fotu-Moala – 4th place, 17 Yrs Discus

Track Events:

  • Sophie Connell – 3rd place, 12 Yrs 800m

CCC Netball Championships 

 

The Junior and Intermediate Netball Teams represented Brigidine with pride and determination at the CCC Netball Championships in Penrith. Both teams fought fearlessly against strong competition, showing great skill and teamwork. The girls had a terrific day out on the courts, and their efforts truly shone through. Congratulations to all the players for their hard work and commitment!
