Sydney Catholic Schools 10:10 Project: Youth & Senior Night
On Friday, 16th of August, Brigidine attended the Sydney Catholic Schools 10:10 Project Youth & Senior Night.
Hear what Imogen & Catherine, from Year 7, had to say about the night:
It was a very fun and eventful night. We began the evening at 5:30pm with a beautiful Mass at OLSH Randwick, then headed to Marcellin College, where we had dinner and dessert. We were there with three other schools, and they shuffled us up when assigning our tables, so we were with other students we didn't know. An elderly member of the community was also at each table. It was a great way to mingle and learn about everyone and the different schools that they went to. We then played bingo, trivia, and had a raffle. Each school donated gift hampers to the senior members; Brigidine had two fantastic hampers packed full of goodies to give away. We ended the night with group photos and a prayer, whilst we waited for our parents to pick us up at 8:30 pm. Overall, the Youth Night was a great event to attend; it was a terrific opportunity to socialise with people that we didn’t know.
