Carlsruhe Annexe /
Main Campus - Year 4
As we come to the end of 2025, we would like to take a moment to celebrate our wonderful Year 4 students and reflect on an unforgettable year at Carlsruhe.
This year has been filled with new experiences, growing independence, and learning that will stay with our students for a lifetime. Year 4 is a truly special milestone for every student at Woodend Primary School, and Carlsruhe provides a unique setting where friendships are strengthened, confidence is built, and a love of learning is nurtured.
Throughout the year, students have embraced challenges, supported one another, and taken pride in their learning. Highlights included hands-on learning experiences, time spent connecting with nature, collaborative projects, camps and excursions, and many moments of laughter and growth. Most importantly, strong friendships were formed and memories were created that we hope each child will carry with them for years to come.
Our students shared some reflections on their Year 4 journey:
“I have loved going to Carlsruhe this year, presenting my TED Talk and making cubbies with my friends” - Jacob
“My favourite part this year was holding the guinea pigs every day and laughing with 4AD” - Emmie
“Carlsruhe was the best because I got to spend time with all of the animals and I enjoyed doing my compost job. I’ll miss the animals and Carlsruhe” - Kian
“I have loved going to Carlsruhe because seeing the animals everyday is fun, learning on a farm and having a surprise when we found a chicken egg! I will miss the animals and building cubbies” - Clancy
“ Year 4 has been so much, especially doing Carlsruhe activities and talking to the teachers at recess and lunch. I will miss spending time with my teacher everyday!” - Marli
We hope that every child will forever remember their positive experience in Year 4 and the special time they spent at Carlsruhe.
On behalf of the Year 4 team, we would like to thank our families for your ongoing support throughout the year. We wish all our students and families a very safe and Merry Christmas and hope you enjoy a well-earned and relaxing summer holiday break.
We look forward to seeing all the wonderful things our Year 4 students will achieve in the years ahead!
