Year -1/2 Unit

Wow, what a year we’ve had in Year 1/2! It has been full of fun, learning, friendship and growth.
This week in Writing, students have been doing some Christmas-themed writing. They have been focusing on a range of skills they have learned throughout the year, including writing a narrative from a different point of view and creating a news report.
In Maths this week, we have been revising our skills through maths activities and fun, engaging games.
For Inquiry, students have absolutely loved finishing off the dinosaurs they created. Their imaginations ran wild as they used all the boxes and resources that families kindly brought in. Thank you for your support in supplying these materials.
As we begin to wrap up for the year, we ask that any library books or readers be returned to the school so we can prepare for the new year. We also ask that students bring a bag to take home their workbooks.
Just a reminder that this Friday the 19th is the last day of term and students finish at 1:30pm.
On behalf of all the 1/2 teachers, thank you for your ongoing support throughout the year. We hope you have a lovely and safe festive period.
