Last Day Picnic and Ice Creams
The school year is so nearly done! Bring your picnic down to the school oval tomorrow, Friday, at the end of the day (1.30PM). The PFA will have ice creams and zooper doopers for sale to kick start the holidays! Cash and Eftpos available.
Staff morning tea
We are lucky enough to have the beautiful Krista on the PFA and this year she did the most phenomenal job at organising a staff morning tea to say thank you to the wonderful staff at Woodend Primary. We love to celebrate the beautiful educators that support our kids all year round, and Krista did a truly incredible job at sharing our gratitude.
Christmas raffle
We raised a whopping $1392 in ticket sales this year, possibly the best Christmas raffle to date! We are very excited to announce the winner very soon!
Thank you for a terrific year
What a great year it’s been at Woodend Primary. From the whole PFA, thank you parents and families for supporting the events and activities we’ve run - sometimes as fundraisers to help make our kids’ school even better, and sometimes just for fun. We’ve done so much this year, from the inaugural colour run to the spring bulb fundraiser, the school disco to fabulous parents’ 1990s disco bingo night, the cake stalls and Bunning BBWS to the Easter nad Christmas raffles and so much more. We have a hardworking committee, but we couldn’t do half of it without the wider parent community stepping up to help us out. A huge thank you also to the teachers and staff that make the school what it is. Happy holidays to everyone!
Join us next year
We’d love to have keen parents join the PFA next year. We’re a fun bunch that meets monthly, usually at Holgates, and you can volunteer to help out with as much or as little as you’re able. Keep your eye on the newsletter for details for our first meeting in term 1 next year.
