House Program Update — Term 2

Following the hugely successful launch of our House Program in Term 1, Term 2 has been all about building on that excitement and giving students the opportunity to strengthen their house spirit while earning points for their house along the way. It has been a joy to witness the growing sense of pride and belonging across both campuses, and we are thrilled with how enthusiastically our students have embraced the program.

Across both campuses this term, students took part in a range of fun lunchtime activities that celebrated friendly competition and creativity. Students designed house banners and picture frames that beautifully capture the unique identity of each house, the creativity on display has been fantastic to see. We also introduced Karaoke Fridays, which has become a firm favourite. Students from every house stepped up to the mic, earning valuable points for their house. Adding to the excitement, we also ran a lunchtime house basketball competition, with houses going head-to-head in the spirit of good fun and sportsmanship. The finals are set to take place in Week 10 — we wish all houses the very best of luck.

Looking ahead to Term 3, we are incredibly excited for Athletics Day, where house spirit will truly take centre stage. Students will be encouraged to wear a splash of their house colour and represent their house with pride across a variety of activities, all while competing for those all-important house points. This year, the stakes are even higher — our inaugural House Shield will be presented for the very first time, with one lucky house earning the honour of being the first to have their name on it.

We would also like to take a moment to sincerely thank our dedicated House Leaders and House Captains for the enormous effort they have put in this semester. Their enthusiasm and commitment have been instrumental in making this program such a success, and we could not be prouder of the positive culture they are helping to build within our school community. We look forward to sharing more exciting updates with you as the year continues — there is plenty more to come.
