Celebrating Student Success in Mathematics

We are incredibly proud of the 35 Year 7 and 8 students who represented our school in the 2025 APSMO Mathematics Olympiad. Their enthusiasm, perseverance and mathematical thinking shone through in each of the four after-school sessions. A special shoutout goes to three standout students: the exceptional Lenny P, who achieved a place in the top 10%, and Lucas A and Lewis M, who ranked in the top 25% of participants nationwide. Their success reflects the dedication and talent within our learning community. Well done to all competitors for embracing the spirit of problem-solving and an outstanding display of our CORE value: Excellence.

In other maths-related successes, we had three students from Years 9 and 10 compete in the Australian Maths Competition. These hardworking individuals showcased their talents in a challenging test. Well done to Sophia H, and a special congratulations to Liam C who achieved a Distinction and Robin F who achieved a Credit.

We commend all students who participated in these enrichment opportunities and look forward to celebrating more mathematical achievements in the future.
