I’ve been here for around 3 years now.
I speak two languages: Korean and English (hopefully).
I don’t want to be a fidget toy, because the fidget toys in my office get absolutely abused, but what I’d love to be is somebody’s favourite coat, because I can keep them warm, go with them places, and get a break during the summer.
Tonkatsu, which is deep-fried pork cutlets. I could probably sleep on a bed of Tonkatsu at this point.
I would love to go to the place with the Aurora Borealis (I just want to see some magical, colourful swirls) in Norway, Sweden or Switzerland.
I would love to have the ability to control volume, because I would have the ability to turn down the voices of people who are too loud and quite literally give voice to the silenced.
A movie that is one of my all-time favourites is Good Will Hunting, I love that movie because I love the therapist, Sean, I want to be Sean, and I want to work with many Wills.
It’s not one moment in particular, but a combination of a bunch of moments: the friendships that are growing in the workplace, the connections I have with my colleagues, the growing relationships I have with coworkers — all these things that are contributing to the highlight reel of my time here.
I love otters. My favourite thing about them is that they look so friendly and warm, and they hold hands so they don’t float away from each other when they sleep. I think that’s really adorable. I also love that they have a favourite rock that they keep in their pocket.
So, at the last karaoke I sang Castle on the Hill by Ed Sheeran and Everything by Micheal Bublé. What I want to sing next is Mr Brightside by The Killers.
Thanks, Elin!
