Year Level Captain's Report

Hi everyone,

As we conclude our first year at Beaumaris Secondary College, it is a wonderful time to reflect on all that we have achieved, to celebrate how far we have come, and to appreciate the many blessings of our journey.

When we first stepped into Year 7, many of us felt excited, nervous, and unsure. Step by step, week by week, we found our rhythm. We settled into new routines, discovered new strengths, and built friendships that will last a lifetime. Along the way, we created countless memories that helped us learn more about ourselves and grow into the people we are becoming.

And now, here we are, ready to take the next step, confident in what we have learnt and excited for all the opportunities ahead.

To our amazing Year 7 teachers:

Thank you for your unwavering support and encouragement. Your guidance has inspired us to embrace new experiences, push our limits, and become the best versions of ourselves. You have made our first year of high school unforgettable, and for that, we are truly grateful.

To our loving parents and families:

Thank you for your patience. Your encouragement and understanding have been a constant source of strength, helping us grow, persevere, and shine every step of the way.

To each and every Year 7 student:

You are the reason our first year has been so incredible. Your energy, humour, and resilience have brought our classrooms to life every single day. Through every high and low, we supported one another, learnt from each other, and grew stronger together. We gave our best in teamwork during sporting events, cheered each other on, and helped one another with learning. We shared laughs, celebrated achievements, and even felt a little emotional during farewell celebrations. Together, we have shown the true meaning of friendship, respect, and community.

As we enter the holidays, I hope you take the time to rest, recharge, and enjoy every moment with your family and friends. You have all worked so hard, and you truly deserve the joy and relaxation that this festive break brings. When we return next year, we come back ready for new adventures, ready to take on challenges, and ready to shine even brighter together.
