It's been a busy month of performing — check out the videos and photos below!
Tuesday 25 November
On Tuesday 25 November, the parents of the wonderful instrumental music program students were treated to the brilliant Term 4 Ensembles Soiree. With 13 performers and 17 songs, the students kept the audience entertained, playing hits by everyone from Billie Eilish to The White Stripes. It was wonderful to see so much enthusiasm from the parents, grandparents and friends as they came out to support our very talented students. A massive thank you to all the instrumental music teachers, and a shout-out to Ms Saunders, for all the hard work you’ve put in over the whole year — we music students couldn’t do it without you.

Friday 14 November
On Friday 14 November, the brilliant second instalment of the Shoreline anthology was released. Packed with riveting short stories, touching poems and two very in-depth music reviews, this sophomore book is a wonderful showcase of the incredible creativity and talent of our BSC students. A massive thank you is in order for all the teachers involved in the creation of this book, and for recognising the effort and passion these students have put into these pieces. It is a great example of school pride, as those who excel in English can be celebrated in this way by becoming actual, published authors.

Well done to the instrumental music students who performed at the launch — a fantastic way to celebrate the release.

Thursday 6 November
The PBL Expo was an engaging event where students proudly showcased the PBL’s they had been working on throughout the term. Each display highlighted their creativity and problem-solving. As family and friends went to go see everyone’s PBL’s, they were able to see their designs, presentations, demonstrations, and interactive activities that showed how students planned, designed, and refined their ideas. The mood was filled with excitement as students explained their learning journeys and the impact of their projects, making the expo a celebration of hard work, collaboration, and innovation.
