Social and Emotional Wellbeing

Service Overview

Our program provides culturally appropriate, trauma-informed support tailored specifically for Aboriginal individuals—primarily adults aged 18 to 65, though we also work with families outside this age range.

We support clients experiencing challenges such as isolation, loneliness, mental health concerns, alcohol and other drug (AOD) issues, and feelings of helplessness. Our approach is grounded in enhancing independence, choice, and inclusion, while also facilitating referrals to culturally safe services. This includes assistance in navigating mainstream systems such as the NDIS and Services Australia.

A key element of our service is Yarning—a conversational and empowering method that helps individuals understand their circumstances, explore solutions, and reduce feelings of isolation.

Our professionally qualified staff work collaboratively with clients to support their wellbeing and personal goals through a holistic care model.

Eligibility Criteria: The only requirement for accessing our services is Aboriginal identity.
