Staff Interview - Dani Wilson

Interview with Dani Wilson

How long have you worked at BNPS?

I’ve proudly been part of the BNPS community for 19 years.

What inspired you to be a teacher?

I loved school growing up, and my teachers had such a positive impact on me. I wanted to inspire others in the same way.

If you weren't a teacher, what career would have you pursued?

I would have become a sports scientist — I’ve always been fascinated by how the body works and how athletes perform at their best.

What is your favourite thing to do on weekends?

Weekend sport is my favourite way to relax and have fun! morning sports and activities, which I feel so lucky to get to watch and enjoy!

If you could go on a holiday anywhere in the World, where would you go?

I’d love to visit Japan and experience riding a Shinkansen bullet train.

What is something that your students might be surprised to learn about you?

I once worked at a recycling plant to save up for my very first car.

What recently made you smile?

Watching the Winter Olympics and Paralympic Games brought me so much joy. The athletes’ determination always inspires me.
