Craft and Construction Challenge – Holiday Project Invitation

We are excited to launch our first Craft and Construction Challenge for 2026.

Over the school holidays, we invite all students from our tiniest Preps to our tallest Year 6s to plan, design, craft or construct something marvellous. It might be clever, quirky, colourful, practical, recycled, fashionable, decorative, wonderfully wobbly or delightfully unusual. If it is safe and it is theirs, it is perfect.

Students may choose to sketch a design, stitch, crochet or knit a masterpiece, build a model, or sew, glue, hammer, tape, sculpt, fold, twist or invent something the world has never seen before.

At the start of Term 2, students are invited to bring in their creation so we can celebrate their imagination and effort. Please ensure all projects are clearly labelled with your child’s name and grade, and delivered to Miss Efron in the Music Room.

Winning creations from each year level will be showcased at assemblies throughout the term so our whole school community can enjoy the creativity and brilliance of our students.

So, we encourage everyone to step away from the screens and unleash their inner inventor, designer, builder, artist, engineer or mad scientist. 

Dream big, create boldly and surprise us. 

We cannot wait to see what comes to life.
