ACC SEAS Junior Soccer Carnival

On Thursday 18 June, selected students from Years 7–9 proudly represented the College at the ACC SEAS Junior Soccer Carnival. The College fielded one boys team and one girls team, competing against seven other schools in a full day of exciting matches, strong competition, and outstanding sportsmanship.

The boys team performed exceptionally well throughout the day, demonstrating great teamwork and resilience to finish 3rd overall. They progressed strongly through the competition before narrowly going down to Dale Christian College in the playoff for 2nd place.

The girls team also displayed tremendous commitment and determination throughout the carnival. With no substitutes available on the bench, they played every match with grit, perseverance, and a positive attitude. Their teamwork and effort were evident all day as they finished 7th overall against strong opposition.

Both teams should be commended for the way they represented the College, consistently demonstrating excellent sportsmanship, teamwork, and respect for their opponents.

A special thank you to Evano De Pontes for coordinating the boys team and to Ashleigh Burrows for coordinating the girls team. Their leadership, organisation, and support of our students were greatly appreciated and contributed to a successful day for all involved.
