Primary Art Club
Our Primary Art Club wrapped up another wonderful term of creativity and fun with a special Paint and Sip session. Throughout the term, students explored a variety of artistic techniques and expressed their creativity through different art projects. To celebrate their hard work, students enjoyed an afternoon of painting while sipping on a refreshing drink, sharing laughter, creativity, and friendship. It was a fantastic way to finish a successful Art Club experience!

Year 4 Book Writing
This term, the students in Year 4 Red have been learning about language, culture and identity. Throughout this unit of work, they have explored the concept of what language is and how it, along with culture, contributes to a person's identity. Throughout this unit they explored ideas such as:
What is language?
How do people use language in different ways and in different places?
How does language reflect who we are as people?
How does language change?
Students learned that there are SO many different cultures and languages in their class. They created language maps and language portraits to represent how they use different languages in different parts of their lives. Then they learned about descriptive language and writing poetry. They culminated the unit by writing a poem about who they are and where they are from. These have been compiled into a class book which students will present to the college in Week 11. The book will be available for borrowing from the Kaadadjiny Hub. Here’s a snapshot of what’s inside!

First Aid Training for Our VET Sport Students
Students enrolled in the Certificate II in Sports Coaching and Certificate III in Sport, Aquatics and Recreation recently completed their Provide First Aid training with the Australian Institute of Training Solutions (AITS). Presenter Wendy guided students through a full day of practical, hands‑on learning, giving them the opportunity to develop essential skills in CPR, responding to emergencies, and managing injuries in real‑life scenarios.
This training forms an important part of their VET qualifications and helps prepare students for future roles in sporting, aquatic, and recreation environments. The knowledge and confidence gained through this course not only supports their employability but also equips them with valuable life‑saving skills they can use both in the community and in their future workplaces.
Our students demonstrated excellent engagement and professionalism throughout the day, reflecting their commitment to their chosen pathways and the high standards of our VET programs.
