St Augustine's F-6 Athletics Carnival

Recently, our F-6 students participated in their annual Athletics Day.  It was fantastic to see so many smiling faces across our F-2 events and so many parents supporting our students. A big thank you to Miss Sherman and her Year 9/10 class for helping to run these activities. 

The 3-6 events also ran smoothly, with fantastic support from families throughout the day. It was great to see such excellent sportsmanship and encouragement as everyone tried their best. Thank you to Miss Moore and our VCE VM students for assisting with the 3-6 activities. 

Congratulations to our Age Champions, and to Brigidine House, who claimed the overall title for the fourth consecutive year! 

Age Champions 

8/9 Boys – Oliver,  Girls – Iris 

10 Boys – Huxley,  Girls – Violet 

11 Boys – Harry,  Girls – Willow 

12/13 Boys – Keliti,  Girls – Indigo 

One of the highlights of the day was the staff vs student relay. While our staff team was no match for the VCE VM students, they did manage to defeat the Year 6 team! We might just have Mr Busch's determined effort to thank for that result!

Last week, students from Years 3-6 competed at the Waranga Athletics Championships. Congratulations to the following St Augustine's students who were announced Age Champions for the day:
