Work Experience

Work Experience Year 10 and Senior School
It has been a busy and exciting time with students continuing to develop valuable workplace and personal skills through a range of hands-on experiences.
Our Year 10 students successfully completed their first Work Experience placements during the final week of Term 1. Students embraced the opportunity to explore different industries, build confidence in the workplace, and gain a greater understanding of future career pathways. We are incredibly proud of the positive feedback received from employers and the way our students represented Heatherwood within the community.
Senior School students also continue to participate in Industry Day each Thursday, where they explore a variety of workplace options and develop important employability skills. By working alongside other employees in real workplace settings, students are not only strengthening their practical work skills, but also building communication, teamwork, independence, and confidence when interacting with a wide range of people. We are looking forward to celebrating the achievements of our students at the upcoming Industry Day Celebration on Thursday 25th June. Families are warmly invited to attend, and we encourage everyone to see the attached flyers for further information.
