Important changes to parking and student pick up 

To improve safety for all students, families and staff, changes are being made to parking and student afternoon pick-up procedures. 

Starting from Monday 1st June, parents and carers will be unable to enter the school car park after 2.30pm. If you need to pick up your child after 2.30pm you will need to park at the rear of the school at the lower DISC car park and walk through to the office to sign them out. 

These adjustments have been made to ensure the safety of all students, families, and staff during busy times when our school buses are returning from activities. We appreciate the community’s support and cooperation as these changes are implemented.

SRC Lunch 

On Wednesday 27th May, SRC representatives joined me for a lunch meeting in my office. They shared their ideas for school improvement and ways we can help our community. SRC provides a fantastic opportunity for students to collaborate with peers from other classes and have a voice for real change at a school level. I will present their thoughtful ideas and suggestions to School Council at our next meeting.

Curriculum Day - Friday 5th June 

A reminder to families that Friday 5th June will be a Curriculum Day, with no classes running for students on this day.

Staff will be participating in a full day of professional learning focused on the implementation of the Victorian Curriculum 2.0 and the Victorian Pathways Certificate (VPC). This important work will support teachers in continuing to strengthen teaching and learning programs across the school and ensure students are provided with engaging, high-quality learning opportunities.
