Celebrating a Term of Achievement

As we draw to a close on another fantastic term, it's the perfect opportunity to celebrate the remarkable efforts and accomplishments of our students in Years 9 & 10. This has been a period brimming with academic endeavour and community spirit, and I couldn't be prouder of everything our students have achieved.

Firstly, a massive congratulations to our Year 10 students who have successfully navigated their first exams. Before the exams even began, we had students engaged in after school study - some of whom joined our after school Study Slam – whilst others toiled away diligently at home.  I have had several teachers commend the efforts of their students leading into the exam period.  We know the pressure that comes with exams, and the resilience and perseverance shown has been commendable. Similarly, our Year 9 students have been working incredibly hard on their common assessment tasks. In coming weeks we will be celebrating the students in both year levels who have received academic endeavour and academic excellence awards 

I also want to extend my sincere gratitude to the student leaders who recently organised the incredibly successful Big Give. To the staff, students and volunteers for supported the event in such an energised way, whether they were setting up equipment, cooking sausages, filling buckets or bravely copping a bucket.  While the money and awareness raised is significant, seeing students and staff come together for a great cause was the real highlight.Our Year 10 students have once again gained invaluable insights through their work experience placements. These real-world opportunities are fundamental for personal and professional growth, and we sincerely hope each student found their placement enriching and eye-opening. The feedback we've received about their professionalism and enthusiasm has been outstanding.

Finally, we want to give a huge round of applause to the incredibly talented students who performed in our recent Winter Music Showcase. Your performances were a true testament to your hard work, dedication, and passion for music. It was an absolute delight to witness your talent and commitment
