STEP Cosmetic Chemistry

The STEP Cosmetic Chemistry class have celebrated their final lesson with the Parky Day Spa. This final session had over 25 guests, both students and teachers, invited to attend a day spa in the PSC Library from 8 am – 8.30am.

The students came in early to set up the event space and products to use on the customers. Teachers and students were treated to a henna hand art design, some sugar scrubs and moisturisers for their hands as well as a variety of facial mists.

Students also made edible models of the skin for people to learn about the different layers and the skin as a barrier.  Lip balms made by the students were also trialled.
