A Remarkable Year in Years 4/5 and 5/6
As the year comes to a close, our Years 4/5 and 5/6 students have much to be proud of. Throughout the year, they have embraced opportunities to grow as learners, leaders, and teammates, making memories that will last well beyond the classroom.
Highlights included an unforgettable school camp, where students challenged themselves, built resilience, and strengthened friendships. Our Year 6 Graduation will be a special celebration, marking an important milestone and recognising the growth and achievements of our graduating students.
Our Year 6 students enthusiastically participated in our Survivor Challenge, demonstrating teamwork, problem-solving, and perseverance. For our Year 5s, leadership was a strong focus, with students taking on responsibilities and modelling positive behaviours within the school community.
Sporting events provided opportunities to show sportsmanship, determination, and school pride, while Science Night showcased curiosity, creativity, and a love of discovery as students shared their learning with families.
Being buddies was another meaningful part of the year, with older students supporting younger peers, building confidence, and strengthening connections across year levels. Our involvement in SEP activities further encouraged students to develop social skills, empathy, and a sense of belonging.
We are incredibly proud of all that our Years 4/5 and 5/6 students have achieved this year and thank our staff and families for their ongoing support. We wish our students a safe and happy break and look forward to seeing them continue to thrive in the year ahead, either at Bundoora Primary School or at secondary school.
