What a day!

I organised a 'flash mob' and have been teaching all students the dance for 'Steps 5678' all term, prep-6. They'd been looking forward to it since week 1, and today was the day! (Thursday 11th). When they heard the music over the school PA system, they had to walk out of their classes like they were in a trance, ignoring their teachers 😉 and walk to the basketball court. OF COURSE THEY ALL RAN! 🤣🤣🤣🤣 They were so excited! Comments of "Best fun ever!" and "OMG that was so exciting!!!" Filled the air as they all walked back to their classrooms! ❤️

I love making memories!!!! THANKYOU to Mr Cass for setting up the PA for me and videoing so the kids could watch it in class! They were FABULOUS! Thankyou teachers for being so flexible & playing along! I hope everyone had fun!

On Wednesday 10th Dec, our amazing Crescendo Choir performed at the Good Start early childhood centre across the road! We sang all of our favourite songs from this year as well as some Christmas songs. The young crowd danced and sang along- it was so lovely! We look forward to performing for them again next year!

On 16 November 2025 our wonderful Crescendo Choir performed at Banyule’s  Malahang Festival in Heidelberg, and they were truly amazing!  This family-friendly event that celebrates culture, community and diversity, were wowed by our enthusiastic Choir and as we performed, the heavens opened, but this only brought the large crowd closer as they came undercover to escape the rain!

Thank you to all the parents who brought their children out on a Saturday to perform!

Performing Arts: Assembly performances!

Huge shout out to the amazing students from grades 1/2 who sang "Ghost of Tom" beautifully as a round and to the brilliant grade 3/4 students who showed off what they could do on the recorders and ukuleles!!!! Again, last week we had our beautiful Prep students sing and sign "You are my Sunshine" and the outstanding Grade 5-6 students perform an acoustic arrangement of "Somebody that I Used to Know" on ukuleles, marimbas, xylophones, glockenspiels, piano & keyboards!!! I'm so SUPER proud of everyone! We've had so much fun this term- I hope everyone enjoyed it as much as me
