Resilience, Rights and Respectful Relationships (RRRR)
This term, our students have been exploring Resilience, Rights and Respectful Relationships (RRRR) as part of their Health and Wellbeing learning. In Topic 8: Positive Gender Relationships, teachers have been focusing on how we can build kind, safe, and fair friendships with everyone.
Students have learned about being upstanders, which means speaking up or acting kindly when they see someone being treated unfairly, rather than staying silent. We’ve discussed simple ways to support friends, include others, and stand up to unkind behaviour.
Another important focus has been help-seeking. Children have practiced recognising situations where they might need help and learning who they can talk to, whether it’s a teacher, parent, or trusted adult. Emphasising that asking for help is a sign of strength.
Through discussions, role-plays, and group activities, our students are developing the skills to create positive, respectful relationships both in school and in their wider community. We are proud of the thoughtful and caring ways our students are applying these lessons every day.
Lunchtime Wellbeing Activities
This term, our students have been making the most of the Wellbeing Space during lunchtime. The space provides a safe and welcoming environment where children can relax, play, and connect with their peers outside of class.
Students have been engaging in play-based activities that encourage teamwork, communication, and problem-solving. Whether building games, collaborative challenges, or creative projects, children are learning how to work together and support one another.
One of the most exciting aspects has been the opportunity for students to connect with peers from different year levels. These interactions help build friendships, develop empathy, and strengthen our school community.
We are pleased to see students embracing these experiences, demonstrating positive social skills, and making lunchtime a time for fun, learning, and connection.

Farewell and Thank You to Freya
We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Freya, our Provisional Psychologist, who will be finishing with us at the end of the year.
Over the past two years, Freya has worked with many of our students, providing care, support, and guidance. She has been an incredible asset to our Wellbeing Team, and her dedication and kindness have made a lasting impact on our school community.
We wish Freya the very best as she moves forward to as a fully qualified psychologist. Well done, Freya, and thank you for everything—you will be greatly missed!
As the school year comes to a close, we wish all our families a happy, safe and restful holiday! We hope you enjoy a well-deserved break, filled with laughter, relaxation, and special moments together.
Please stay safe over the holidays and know that we are excited to continue supporting your children’s growth and wellbeing in 2026. We have many exciting activities and programs planned, and we can’t wait to see everyone back, ready for another wonderful year of learning, connection, and fun.
Kate Bonazza.
