Year 7 Interschool Sports - Term 1 Highlights

Term 1 was packed with excitement as students represented our school in Futsal, Tennis, Volleyball, Cricket, and Baseball. Every team — from the social groups to the A teams — showed incredible determination. Even when the scoreboard wasn’t in their favour, no one gave up. The atmosphere was full of energy, teamwork, and encouragement. Most importantly, everyone had a great time and supported each other throughout the day.

Athletics Carnival

Our Athletics Carnival brought the whole school together for a day of colour, competition, and fun. Students took part in events such as 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m, 1500m, plus long jump, triple jump, high jump, and shot put. Many students dressed up in funny outfits and proudly wore their house colours. Some competed in every event, while others chose just a few - but everyone contributed to the spirit of the day. New friendships were made, cheers echoed across the field, and the carnival became a highlight of the term.

Swimming Carnival

The Swimming Carnival featured breaststroke, freestyle, butterfly, and backstroke events. Students swam for their house colours, with some aiming for first place and others simply enjoying the moment. The pool deck was filled with laughter, cheering, and the smell of sunscreen. Many students spent time meeting new people, enjoying ice creams and icy poles, and celebrating their first major event of the year. It was a day full of sunshine, school spirit, and unforgettable memories.
