Sports Report

Rounders (by Warren)

It was a cloudy, overcast morning Friday, which shielded us from the sun. Camelot Rise, our opponents, drove in on a bus as we got ready. They looked tough, and we had a fierce game ahead of us. They played very well and ended up beating us 19-3 runs.

Unfortunately, we lost but we still had lots of fun. There was great batting by everyone, and great fielding too. Better luck next time Highvale!

Soccer (by Caleb)

As we prepared to face Camelot Rise, our soccer team was hyped, as Highvale had not beaten Camelot in interschool sport for a while. We had a great game and even though there wasn’t great sportsmanship from some members on both teams, we still had a great game and won 13-2. There was great playing from everyone, with Jasper scoring 8 goals, Caleb, Kurtis and Ethan each scoring 1, and Will scoring 2. 

We had a lot of fun this game, and we hope to go on undefeated this season. Good job Highvale!

Softball (by Mann)

The Softball team was all ready and excited on Friday morning, and we also played Camelot Rise. We had a great victory over the other team, winning 19-15. There was spectacular playing from Mann, Livia, Anvita, Aarna, Ansh, James, and everyone else. It was a great game and we won, so great job Highvale!

Netball (by Elizabeth)

For the girls only team, we didn’t have a great game, but we had a great time. We sadly lost 21-1, with Nour scoring the only goal, but it was still great fun. The ref was really kind and helpful when we started losing, and we had a good time.  The mixed team managed to snag a win against our opponents, 18-12, with everyone playing amazingly.
