Student Voice

Last Thursday 22nd March, the Year One and Two students participated in an incursion called Taskworks: Problem Solving. 

 

The incursion was set up in the MPC and students  rotated around to different activities. They had a great time. Read on to hear what the students thought about their incursion.

 

Shrigna 1S - I learned to work together and be kind. I enjoyed the pushand pull machine the best. I give this incursion 5 out of 5. becasue it was so much fun!

 

Caleb 1S - I give the incursion a 4 out of 5. I liked the way we got to learn how to build mechanical things. 

 

Kaylee 1S - I learned to work as a team with people in my class. I give this incursion a 5 star rating because it was fun and it helped us learn. My favourite activity was the push and pull machine.  

 

Masa 2M - I learned how to experience teamwork with my friends in all the activities.

Surveen  2M - I loved how they taught us in a fun way, my favourite rotation was the ride that took us up and down, it made me feel excited. 

Bob 2M - I would give this incursion 5 out of 5 stars because it was really fun when we were constructing our design for the robot. I got to use my problem solving skills. 

 

Dhaani 2J - I felt this incursion was super good because the activities challenged us, especially the electric wand race. 

 

Gabby 2J - I loved that we could make a marble race using a variety of different shapes on the whiteboards. I had lots of successful marble runs in my team. 

Oscar 2J -  My favourite activity was the gravity hammer. I got 3 strikes on the machine and my team cheered me on. It was so fun. 

 

 Cooper 2S -  My favourite part of the incursion was rebuilding the big robot because it was fun!

 

Lilliana 2S - In the Incursion, I learned that you need teamwork to make different activities work.

 

Edward 2S - I gave the incursion 6 out of 5 stars because there were 6 great activities!
