SCHOOL SAVING BONUS – IMPORTANT INFORMATION!

The $400 School Saving Bonus money has been widely used by school families to cover the cost of uniforms, excursions and camps.

If you have yet to access the SSB Parent Portal to reallocate your funds to ‘School Activities’ at Woodend PS, you have 2 options:

• Log in before 30th June 2025 and your funds are available to use within a day or so (you will need the Bonus code sent to you from Dept Education late last year) OR

• do nothing. Rest assured the funds won’t disappear and will still come to the school under your name, however will not be available to use until mid or late August 2025.

Funds reallocated to ‘School Activities’ as suggested above, will not expire and will remain as a credit on your school account until fully used, either this year or the next or the years going forward.

If you have not received your School Saving Bonus code via email or can’t find it, please contact the school as we assist with missing codes. This needs to be done BEFORE 30th June 2025.

We urge you to phone or come into the school office if you are still confused or are having any difficulty and we can assist.

There is still time to make a Tax-Deductible contribution to either our Building Fund and/or Library Fund and claim a tax deduction for this financial year. For those who have already contributed, receipts will be issued in the coming weeks or early next term.
