WPS Community Children’s Garden

Lots of different things going on with gardening over the last few weeks, as we continue to attract 40ish students to Garden Club each Monday lunch time.

  • Carrot harvesting. As thanks for helping out on one of the harvest days, volunteer Mum Bec took home a hand full of carrots and made a delicious soup!

  • Planting daffodil bulbs in the garden between the library and the art room. “How exciting! We’re doing gardening but not in THE [community] garden!” I heard a student excitedly exclaim.

  • Who can find the longest running-grass weed root?  Well done winners, Dolly and Archie.
