Vocational Education

 and Training

WHAT IS VET?

Vocational Education and Training, or VET, enables students to earn nationally recognised qualifications while completing their school curriculum. By integrating industry-developed training and practical experience into the classroom, VET equips students with the technical skills and workplace readiness needed to improve their job prospects and transition smoothly into the workforce or further study.

Our 2026 VET KLA welcomes Mr Nathan Carroll to our team, delivering a Certificate 3 in Information and Digital Technology to our Year 11 students. In addition, we also provide our students with the opportunity to engage with other VET subjects, this year we have additionally offered Manufacturing and Engineering, Construction, Business Services and Hospitality.

This Term, our newsletter focus is on the Certificate 2 Hospitality course, delivered by Ms Nicole Lane to our Year 11 students. The class was interviewed about their experiences in the course, and below are some of their responses.
