Whats Happening In Drama

On Wednesday the 19th of August, Year 12 Drama performed in front of an audience for their HSC Trial performance exam; with the support of Year 11 as stage and lighting crew, Year 12 presented their group performance and monologues to friends, family and markers. From here, students are refining their performances in preparation for the HSC Performance exam on the 4th of September.

As Year 11 Drama students prepare for their preliminary examinations, they are building a play that explores the forming of unlikely communities and connection through online communities. They are also developing monologues to perform.

Year 10 are currently in production shooting footage for their short films. After this, they will begin post production, editing the footage to present the films for a watch party in week 10.

Year 9 students have just concluded their masked performances in front of three year 7 classes. Students performed with Commedia Del ‘Arte, Basel (pictured) and Neutral masks.
