School holidays can be a particularly challenging time for some young people, with reduced routines, fewer social opportunities and limited access to support services. Providing opportunities for connection, creativity, movement and community participation can play an important role in supporting young people's mental health and wellbeing.
To help address this, headspace Wagga Wagga has developed a range of free school holiday activities that encourage social connection, build confidence, develop practical skills and create opportunities for young people to engage with their peers in a safe and welcoming environment. We are also excited to be hosting the Mellow Minds Festival, a free community event focused on helping people slow down, connect and prioritise their wellbeing.
School Holiday Program
This holidays, headspace Wagga has an exciting lineup of free groups and activities designed to engage everyone. From sports and cooking to puzzles, challenges, mindfulness, music and board games, there's something for everyone.
