Year 9 Multimedia

Year 9 Multimedia students are diving into the world of stop motion animation initially creating simple paper cut-out films. Each student cuts out characters and background elements from paper, moving them incrementally between shots to bring their scenes to life. Using cameras or tablets, they capture hundreds of individual photos, carefully adjusting each piece before every click.

Through this hands-on project, students develop patience, planning skills, and a practical understanding of how frame-by-frame movement creates the illusion of motion.
