College Captains' Report

Hello Beaumaris Secondary College community,
This newsletter marks the last one for us Year 12s as our high school journey is coming to an end with this Friday being our very last day. Our year has been filled with amazing moments, as well as challenging times that we’ve all made it through.
As a cohort, we have had an outstanding celebration week that encompassed the connection of our year level, and it has been heartwarming to see everyone come together for one last time. This week was filled with dress ups and reminiscing on good times. Many of us went above and beyond with our outfits making for a very fun last week.
For the majority of us, all that is left is our final examinations that approach within the coming weeks. Everyone has stepped up this year and should be very proud of all of their efforts. I think we all understand that there is light at the end of the tunnel, we are so close.
On behalf of the entire Beaumaris Year 12 cohort, we would like to thank the entire Beaumaris Secondary College community for all of the support over our tenure, as well as the incredible final week and final year we have been given. I speak for everyone when I say I consider myself incredibly grateful to have been a part of Beaumaris Secondary College. We wish you all the best of luck for the remainder of the year.
Thank you to the entire school community, not only for your belief in us as captains, but creating such a positive culture, which makes Beaumaris such a hard place to leave behind. This school has been a home away from home for us, and I hope that, as captains this year, we have fulfilled our goal of making everyone love school, just that tiny bit more.
Lily and Val, signing out!
