STEAM Fest 2026
What an incredible way to finish the term! STEAM Fest 2026 was a fantastic success, with students working together in mixed-age House teams to solve problems, think creatively and support one another throughout the day.
Congratulations to Red Team, who were crowned our 2026 STEAM Fest Champions! Throughout the day, teams earned points by demonstrating the IB Learner Profile attributes of Risk-Takers, Communicators and Thinkers, while also displaying outstanding teamwork, perseverance and creativity.
Students rotated through a range of hands-on STEAM experiences, including:
- Coding challenges using Sphero robots
- Engineering and design challenges
- Cardboard creations using Makedo tools
- Science investigations and experiments
- Stop-motion and movie-making activities
- Collaborative problem-solving challenges
It was wonderful to see students encouraging one another, sharing ideas across year levels and celebrating each other's successes. A huge thank you to our staff and student leaders who helped make the day such a memorable learning experience.
Digital Wellbeing
Our whole-school Digital Wellbeing program continues this term as students participate in live incursions delivered by Inform & Empower. These engaging, age appropriate sessions are designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills to navigate the online world safely and responsibly.
The focus areas for each year level are:
- Prep: Safe Screen Time
- Years 1 & 2: Digital Footprints
- Years 3 & 4: Cyberbullying
- Years 5 & 6: Cyberbullying
To support these important conversations at home, please take a few moments to read the attached Parent & Carer information posters. They provide helpful insights into each topic and practical strategies for continuing these discussions as a family.
Together, we can help our students develop the confidence, resilience and skills to be safe, respectful and responsible digital citizens.
