Welcome back to another exciting term at our school! As we dive into Term 3, we want to remind you that it’s never too late to join the Parents Association (PA). We are always looking for enthusiastic new members to bring fresh ideas and energy to our group. No experience is needed—just a current Working with Children’s Check and a willingness to contribute to our community.

Joining the PA is a great way to get involved and make a difference in our school. We have many exciting fundraising opportunities on the horizon and would love to have you on board. Whether you have a lot of time to give or just a little, every bit helps and is greatly appreciated.

Disco Bingo Night

One of our most anticipated events, Disco Bingo Night, is coming up soon! We have had 6 tickets become available, so if you would like to join the fun, please email us at upweysouthpta@gmail.com to secure your ticket. With over $8000 worth of prizes, a silent auction, amazing raffles, and lots of fun games, it's sure to be a night to remember. The silent auction will be online prior to the event, ensuring everyone has a chance to participate, even if you can’t make it on the night. 

Tickets are now on sale through QKR! For our amazing raffle packs - You can choose which draw to enter, and tickets are only $2 each! 

Father’s Day Stall

Mark your calendars for Wednesday, August 28th, as we will be hosting our Father’s Day Stall. This is a wonderful opportunity for students to purchase a special gift for their dads. We will be asking for volunteers to help on the day, so if you can lend a hand, we would love to have your support. More information will be coming out via Compass soon.

Partnering with the Pancake Parlour Schools Program

Our school has recently joined local schools in partnering with the Pancake Parlour to raise funds to support student initiatives. 

The below information is being distributed across participating school networks: 

Here's how it works: Join our school rewards program as a member and start earning points every time you treat yourself at Pancake Parlour. We'll be competing against other schools in our area for fantastic cash prizes! There's $1,000 up for grabs in our local restaurant league, with every point earned contributing to our school's success. Pancake Parlour Competition

We are excited to share that our school is currently in 3rd place in the Pancake Parlour competition! There is $1000 up for grabs for the first-place school, so thank you to everyone who has registered and enjoyed some delicious pancakes. Let's keep up the great work and aim for the top spot!
