The last three weeks have enjoyed the Olympics, created big paper plate rings and kept a live medal tally, we were disappointed Australia came 3rd but after conversation around how many countries where invited our disappointment turned quickly into pride. We also explored emotions, making a new playdough each morning to represent a different feeling. We obviously celebrated book week, reading a different book each day and creating masterful art works in inspiration.
We also would like to give a massive shoutout to the office for donating a fuse ball table, it has been a wonderful and exciting new addition to our room with children playing with it for hours on end.
We have a new initiative here at TheirCare where we will be swapping and sharing amazing recipes from other services to try for afternoon tea, we had parfait on Friday and next Thursday will be whipping up an easy bake lasagne. We are excited to try new ideas and learn about the country and culture this food originated from. If you and your family have any favorite recipes you would like to share, please email or drop in to let us know :) Feedback and ideas are always welcome!
