High School Musical
Congratulations to two of our Grade 6 students and Rising Stars, Louise Schroeders and Addi Zak who Starred in the School Holiday Production, High School Musical Jnr, with the Numurkah Singers Theatre Inc. on Saturday, 13th July.
As a bit of a tribute to Louise & Addi, we asked them to complete a Q&A. Congratulations Louise & Addi, no doubt in a few years time, we will be shouting your names out on the Big Stage.
Louise Schroeders – Year 6
Who was your character in High School Musical:
I’m playing Cathy and a member of the brainiacs.
What is a quick brief description of your Character:
Cathy is passionate about theatre and gives it her all.
Have you been in other productions? If so, what were they?
This is my first production ever
What is your favourite thing about doing productions?
I’m looking forward to meeting new people and learning heaps.
What do you like to do outside of productions?
Outside of productions I love to play netball and do some cooking.
What’s the one piece of advice for anyone who would like to Audition in future productions?
My advice for anyone doing auditions is to give it a go and don’t over think it.
Addi Zak – Year 6
Who was your character in High School Musical:
I’m playing Taylor McKessie, Gabriella Montez’s best friend.
What is a quick brief description of your Character:
She is nerdy and has a big heart. But also wants to win the Science Decathlon and Chad.
Have you been in other productions? If so, what were they?
Yes I have, I’ve been in Fiddler on the Roof in 2023 playing Miss Walker’s daughter and Moana Junior in 2021
What is your favourite thing about doing productions?
Acting, Singing, being able to play a whole new persona nd meeting new people.
What do you like to do outside of productions?
Playing netball with my friends and water skiing with my family.
What’s the one piece of advice for anyone who would like to Audition in future productions?
Give them your all and don’t let others tell you otherwise in the future.
