International Student Cel

Our international student community has had a vibrant and joyful start to the year, highlighted by a wonderful celebration of the Chinese and Vietnamese New Year. The event brought students together to share culture, food and friendship in a truly special way.

We enjoyed a delicious lunch featuring traditional dishes that many of our students grew up with. The room was filled with laughter, conversation and excitement as students shared stories about how their families celebrate at home. It was a fantastic opportunity for everyone to learn more about each other’s traditions and welcome the new year together with positivity and hope.

A true highlight of the celebration was the visit from a talented Chinese Face Changing performer. Students were amazed by the speed and skill of this traditional art form, as colourful masks changed in the blink of an eye. The performance was not only entertaining but also a meaningful cultural experience, giving students and staff a deeper appreciation of Chinese heritage and performance art.

Events like these continue to strengthen the supportive and connected community our international students have built. It is wonderful to see friendships growing, cultures being shared and our school embracing diversity with such enthusiasm.

We look forward to many more celebrations and shared experiences throughout the year!
