Homelessness Week

Homelessness Week(3–9 August) is a time in which to step back from political manoeuvres. It invites us to reflect why having a place we can call home is so important. We do that best by entering the world of people stripped of home. To be homeless is to struggle to stay connected. Without a home, we lose touch with friends and family, and the connections with society that are central to our lives become precarious. With no fixed address, you will miss mail, and find it difficult to access government services. You will be obliged to move from place to place, your children will change schools, miss friends and grow up with only passing relationships.

Fruits of the Spirit

The F/1/2's have continued to learn about these gifts and how they show them in their life.

This week we focused on the gifts of love, joy, kindness, peace and patience and the opportunities they get to display them in their own life experiences.
