Just Hanging Around....

On May 28th our Y10 Outdoor Education students attended an excursion to Cliffhanger Climbing Gym located in Altona which is the tallest indoor climbing gym in Australia. The day was filled with adventure, teamwork and personal growth as our students tackled the impressive indoor rock-climbing walls at one of Australia's premier climbing centres.

From overcoming initial apprehensions and fears our students embraced the challenge, celebrated many triumphs and the friendly competition that brought out the best in everyone. One of the highlights was watching students cheer each other on, offering support and celebrating each success, no matter how small. The sense of camaraderie and mutual respect was evident as students worked together to solve climbing routes and belay each other, ensuring everyone had a safe and enjoyable experience.

This excursion not only provided physical activity but also valuable lessons in perseverance, self-belief and teamwork. We extend our heartfelt thanks to the dedicated staff at Cliffhanger Climbing for their expert guidance and support, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all.
