SSV Basketball and Volleyball

SSV Basketball Year 7, Year 8 & Intermediate Boys

The Year 7 boys had an awesome day at the basketball. They played with heaps of energy and teamwork, making it all the way to the final. 

It was a close game, and while they just missed out on the win, making the final was a huge effort and something to be really proud of.

The Year 8 team also had a solid day. They worked well together and made it to the semi-finals, where they gave it a good go but didn’t quite get the result they wanted. Still, they played some great basketball and showed a lot of potential.

The Intermediate boys had a tough run, coming up against some strong teams. Even though they didn’t manage to get a win, they kept their heads up and managed to draw one of their games. Credit to them for sticking at it and keeping a good attitude throughout the day.

A big thanks to our Year 11 coaches, Tute, Hok, and Thomas for all the support, coaching, and encouragement. The boys really appreciated having you there and everything you did on the day.

SSV Volleyball Year 7, Year 8 Boys

The Year 7 boys volleyball team had an awesome day on the court. They played with great teamwork and focus, winning some tough games and earning their spot in the final. It was a tight match, and although they didn’t come away with the win, making it to the final was a huge achievement and showed how well the team came together on the day.

The Year 8 boys also had a strong showing. They played some great volleyball and made it through to the semi-finals. While they didn’t quite get over the line, the boys showed a lot of skill and determination, and they should be proud of how they played.

Coaches Valarie and Cathy demonstrated great leadership and Volleyball knowledge. Thank you for all your efforts on the day.
