VCE Workshops – Exclusive Exam Preparation

As part of our ongoing VCE Improvement Strategy, Taylors Lakes Secondary College is proud to offer a targeted and enriching opportunity to support high-achieving Year 12 students as they prepare for their final VCE exams.

Based on nominations from subject teachers, several students have been identified as a student with strong potential to achieve a study score of 37 or above in one or more of the following subjects: 

• Business Management
• Psychology
• General Mathematics
• Health and Human Development.

The College has engaged experienced VCAA exam assessors—experts in their fields—to run a series of after-school workshops tailored to high-performing students. These sessions are focused on advanced exam preparation techniques, detailed feedback on written responses, and insight into what is required to succeed at the top end of the grading scale.

These workshops began at the beginning of term 3 with at least 3 workshops running for each of the subjects into term 4.

The workshops currently provide benefits including:

• One-on-one and small group feedback from current VCAA exam assessors
• Insight into the expectations and marking criteria for top study scores
• Effective exam strategies and high-level response techniques
• Opportunities to connect with like-minded peers working toward academic excellence

This initiative reflects our commitment to academic excellence and supporting every student in reaching their full potential. We look forward to seeing these students thrive in the lead-up to their final exams.
