Fractions

In Math, we have been exploring fractions as equal parts of a whole. Using whole shapes and groups, we have been dividing into halves, quarters and eigths. 

When creating fractions, we know that all parts must be equal, otherwise it is not fair.

Persuasive Letters

Our grade 1/2 authors have been exploring their writer's voice to level up their persuasive letters, in a bid to convince the target audience - taking into consideration what we want and who would be the most suitable person to write to. This week, students have been given the opportunity to publish a letter of their choice.
