On Thursday last week some of our senior hub staff participated in the Big Freeze. This was a fantastic effort with amazing support from our students.




















Last Tuesday 2nd June, 30 female students visited Melbourne Convention Centre to discover career pathways in many growing and critical sectors of Victoria's economy, in traditionally male focused industries. Students engage with tradies, apprentices and industry professionals, providing insight into career pathways where females are underrepresented. There were hands-on experiences, engaging displays and supportive conversations.


























Congratulations to Thomas, Year 11, who has signed into a School-Based Apprenticeship/Traineeship (SBAT) with the support of Head Start. Thomas will undertake Certificate III in Automotive Sales whilst working with Dwyers Group Bairnsdale and remaining at school part-time. Head Start and Bairnsdale Secondary College wish Thomas all the best as he gets his career “Head Start”!


Congratulations to Bonnie, Year 10, who has signed into a School-Based Apprenticeship/Traineeship (SBAT) with the support of Head Start. Sexual Health Victoria (SHV) are visiting our College next week presenting to Year 10 students on Sexual Health Education Topics.

Study sessions on Wednesday and Thursday after school continue to be popular. Students are welcome to stay back after school and study with the help of many teachers available.
Study sessions take place in the Malgobila LRC on a Wednesday and Thursday from 3.15 pm to 5.00 pm. All students from all year levels are welcome to attend.
